  1. i have mixed feelings about this random act of kind(a-weird)ness. i chuckled while viewing the clip but I hope they don't get this 'creative' at the greek theater this coming saturday.

  2. They did. But not on Via Chicago, which they didn't play. They got creative in that chaotic way on I Am Trying To Break Your Heart. The show was really good and fun. It took me awhile to warm up to the lead guitarist - the first couple songs had him manically swinging his guitar at his amp for feedback which was not discernable at all to these ears - but he pulled out some great lead work and his lap guitar stuff is great. I'm not sold on his Danelectro doubleneck lyre-shaped guitar, but at least he played both necks. The upper neck sounded kinda mandolinish. What is it with rock shows nowadays? Guitarists are rotating guitars every f'n song. I mean do you really need 10 guits lined up for a single show? Tweedy switched out every song. Damn cool guitars though! Speaking of Tweedy he is quite a good guitarist. They played 2-3 songs off Ghost is Born which pleased me and California Stars under an open sky with a crescent moon was ethereally great.

  3. Tweedy has more beautiful flat top acoustic guitars than a baby has poops.
