Even Holme's call and response tapping on the guitar at 1:35 gets a Zep treatment (2:08).Flipsiderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07983978215194067317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4497209460362406306.post-70511495205512622072011-10-11T10:25:19.627-07:002011-10-11T10:25:19.627-07:00Sweet.Sweet.On The Flip-Sidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07319364292191851993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4497209460362406306.post-21883581541582918482011-10-11T10:23:17.317-07:002011-10-11T10:23:17.317-07:00A few months after you posted this, Holmes filed s...A few months after you posted this, Holmes filed suit in a federal court, alleging copyright infringement. Also of note, however, is how the mighty Zep took the original song and with a few tweaks transformed it into a mighty rock masterpiece. It was pretty weird and inert sounding when old Jake recorded the song, at least from the perspective of knowing Led Zeppelin's version first. It's nice to know it was happy endings for all and Jake got rich writing jingles that became classics. This story would be harder to bear if the originator of Dazed and Confused ended up broke and bitter.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02450460996496210018noreply@blogger.com
